Please note that this championship is NOT a selection for AICES. It is simply a tournament to find the AICES Champion.
We will be playing the new Fast rules except for the number of games played.
Pools of 5 & 6 - Fast 4 or 5
* If the serve clips the tape and lands in the service box, there's no let, it’s game on. What’s more, if you’re playing doubles either the receiver or their partner can take the return.
* As soon as a game gets to deuce it’s a Power Point. The receiver chooses which side will take the serve. This applies to doubles as well with the receiving pair deciding who returns the point.
* At 3 games all or 4 games all a short tie-break is played, first to 5 points. A Power Point determines the winner at 4 points all

Nomination Policy
A maximum of 40 players will be admitted to each draw (boys and girls). This will consist of 8 pools of 5.
All players with a current Australian ranking will be admitted to the draw first.
This is followed by one player from each school . This process continues until each school is exhausted of players or all places are full. If a school has more than one nomination without a ranking they must list the rank order of those players to ensure the strongest are admitted to the draw first. A separate email must accompany the online selections to establish this rank order.
To ensure the strongest players are accepted into the draw, schools have the right to apply to swap players from their school who do not have an Australian Ranking and have been included in the draw with those from their school on the reserves list.
If numbers are smaller than those indicated above the Pools and Format will be altered to fit the number of nominations.
